Explorers Director: Kristin Riffe, Certified and Experienced Elementary Teacher and Homeschool Mom
Our Explorers are our 2nd – 4th* graders. For this age group, our main goal is to help our children revel in the excitement of learning and to give them classroom experience and practice in cooperation and listening skills!
The Explorer day, which runs from 10:00 – 2:00, includes science, unstructured play, art, and structured play.
The membership fee for our elementary students (pre-k – 4th grade) is $50 for the first child in a family and $25 for each additional child, and this group will pay a $100 teacher fee plus a $15 supply fee directly to our elementary director/teacher.
Our Explorer program is a drop-off program although each parent will be assigned a day or two to stay and assist.
*In fall 2022, our elementary program will also include 5th graders. Students who are in fourth grade for the 2021-22 school year will stay in the elementary program next year as our older program transitions to a middle school and high school program. At that point, our 4th and 5th graders will get a fun new name as our oldest elementary group!
